The Enlisted Association
recognizes the outstanding men and women of the New York National
Guard through our Awards Program. At our Annual State Conference,
we honor both Army and Air Guard members who are named the State's
outstanding soldier, airman, NCO, and Senior NCO of the Year.

Robert H. Connal Education Award
The
Education Awards Program consists of seven awards, one for $1000
and six for $500. The $1000 award will be awarded for the
best overall application and one $500 award will be for the best
application for each of the six regions. If a region has no
applicants, that award will be presented to the next-best rated
applicant.
Eligibility.
Any member, spouse of a member, children or grandchildren of member
who meets the criteria.
Criteria.
a. Sponsor must have been a member of EANYNG for a period of one year prior to submission
of application.
b.
Applications
must be received by 1JUNE.
c.
Applicant
must be a high school senior or already in college at the time of
application.
d.
Awards
are limited to one per applicant and may not be repeated.
e.
Applicants
not chosen for an award may submit a new application the following
year.
The
EANYNG awards will be awarded on a cumulative point system with
points being awarded for academic achievement, community service,
extra curricular activities, and leadership abilities.
